This 1.8mm utility rope is absolutely amazing. It’s made from ultra strong and light Dyneema® fiber, a specialized Polyethylene (UHMWPE). It is able to hold over 200lbs but still extremely light at less than a gram per foot. This amazing rope is also low stretch, even when wet. This is the same line that we use on the adjuster buckle of our Shelter Tarp ridgeline.

After using this rope with my hammock tarps, I was so impressed. Now I use it for almost all of my high strength jobs. I’ve used it to hang a food barrel, I use it as a bow line in my canoe as it stows easily and is not bulky and I’ve used it as a clothesline in camp.
