Description:

The Superior Hammock is the absolute simplest and coziest way to sleep! Any spot with a couple trees is your campsite for the night. Thanks to the built-in down insulation, you’ll never need to worry about ‘Cold Butt Syndrome’ again! Unlike other complicated underquilt systems, there’s nothing to adjust. And you won’t have to worry about your insulation sliding off your shoulders and feet. Just set it and forget it! We’ve spent years designing and testing the perfect lightweight backpacking hammock in order to remove all the guesswork. It doesn’t get any easier or quicker than this. We want you to have a warm cozy sleep from the very first night in a Superior!

The Superior Hammock also comes equipped with zippers and snaps to be the ultimate modular setup as well. Zip on accessories like the Bugnet or insulated Cocoon. Snap on our Wind Protector or the Comforter as a second ‘stacked’ underquilt to get into serious winter temps. There are so many ways to configure the Superior to be a true 4-season setup. Thanks to the built-in adjustable ridgeline, you’ll get a consistent comfy hang every time! Each Superior Hammock comes with a lofting storage bag and a quality stuff sack with a separate suspension pocket and it doubles as a ridgeline storage pocket! Once you’ve tried a Superior Hammock, we think everything else will seem a bit complicated and well.. inferior.

Very pleased. I live in the south of New Zealand, I decided to purchase a hammock after seeing it in some online camping videos. I’m a possum trapper so I live in the bush for weeks at a time and I have used it extensively in our rainforests, in frankly terrible weather, and it’s hasn’t let me down yet. The inbuilt insulation is a game changer, it allows you to have your setup ready at the end of the day in a couple of minutes, allowing you to get on with the important tasks like cracking into that well deserved beverage. I have had it down to minus 7C a several nights and it kept me toasty, just chuck a good bag over top then you’re good to go. Very high-quality material and build quality, the hand craftmanship really shows. The bug screen keeps those pesky sand flies and moths out, the generous length in the straps allows for convenient setup options, the inbuilt structural ridgeline allows for the fine tuning of lay angle. I’m 6.3 and the 11-foot hammock offers a pretty flat lay with ample room, a well thought out and well-designed product, the only downside of it is you won’t want to get out of it in the morning!

It’s about time I leave a review. It’s been almost a year since I bought my hammock, and I’ve used it countless times since, especially throughout the fall season. I genuinely can’t recommend it enough. After trying it a few times, I ended up getting the rest of the accessories to round things out. It helped me simplify my gear and pack lighter overall. The coldest night I’ve spent in it so far was -3C, about 26F, and with the Cocoon, I didn’t even notice the temperature. I’m in Hungary, where it doesn’t often drop much lower, but I’m actually looking forward to testing this setup in -10C or even colder. I have full confidence it’ll handle it. All in all, this is easily the best purchase I’ve made for my outdoor adventures.
