Description:

The Superior Hammock is the absolute simplest and coziest way to sleep! Any spot with a couple trees is your campsite for the night. Thanks to the built-in down insulation, you’ll never need to worry about ‘Cold Butt Syndrome’ again! Unlike other complicated underquilt systems, there’s nothing to adjust. And you won’t have to worry about your insulation sliding off your shoulders and feet. Just set it and forget it! We’ve spent years designing and testing the perfect lightweight backpacking hammock in order to remove all the guesswork. It doesn’t get any easier or quicker than this. We want you to have a warm cozy sleep from the very first night in a Superior!

The Superior Hammock also comes equipped with zippers and snaps to be the ultimate modular setup as well. Zip on accessories like the Bugnet or insulated Cocoon. Snap on our Wind Protector or the Comforter as a second ‘stacked’ underquilt to get into serious winter temps. There are so many ways to configure the Superior to be a true 4-season setup. Thanks to the built-in adjustable ridgeline, you’ll get a consistent comfy hang every time! Each Superior Hammock comes with a lofting storage bag and a quality stuff sack with a separate suspension pocket and it doubles as a ridgeline storage pocket! Once you’ve tried a Superior Hammock, we think everything else will seem a bit complicated and well.. inferior.

I bought this after seeing it on Backpacking with Buckley on YouTube. I tried other hammocks with under quilts and its a lot of fiddling. Plus after you buy a nice hammock, plus straps, plug a bug net, plus an under quilt, plus an organizer to hang from your Ridgeline, plus a nice Ridgeline, you’re spending a *LOT* of money, and you have a lot of hassle. This thing is amazing

My last trip with it, literally put a rope (whoopee sling) around a tree, put the sling around the other tree, then attack the hammock and walk over to the first tree. Then tighten up both sides. Then hang your bag on the Ridgeline inside and you’re literally done. When you want to sleep, just hop in with your other blanket and pillow and you’re all set. Just amazing. There’s no way I’d go back to a ton of separate pieces. If you want to hammock camp, buy this

I bought this Fall last year, all the bells and whistles, etc with the hope to get back into hammock camping and remove some of the soreness I get tent camping. I paired this with the 30F top quilt and 30F interior quilt covered in the wind blocker for a trip planned to be in the low 30’s in an area notoriously bad for high wind gusts. I just got back home and all I can say is this morning I didn’t want to get out the hammock was so amazing. The setup is super fast, I put it up in my back yard and swapped in and out the pieces I needed, shoved it in the bag (same for the tarp in the sleeve), and I got to the campsite and was setup in less then 5 minutes with an easy perfect hang. I cannot recommend this enough and I will be adding a few more pieces to extend the range of the setup, I am sold on ditching the ground!

I am BRAND NEW to the Hammock life…. ive done it at the lake with friends etc, but never over night backpacking…. the last two section hikes of the AT have been cold for me in a tent…. a good friend talked me into trying to hammock as a form of shelter/sleep etc and educated me on all the gear needed and she even mentioned superior with the built in UQ… THATS what sold me…. less gear, less mess, less mistakes etc. I’m excited to start this venture! I also want to say how awesome this website is. Very informative!
