I wish I’d found this sooner! Of all the suspensions I’ve tried, this cinch buckle is the easiest and fastest at setup. After a long day of hiking, no one wants to spend unnecessary time trying to get things “just right.” The Superior cinch buckle has cut my hammock setup and breakdown time to a couple minutes at most! I’ll never go back to the other systems I had used. This one is the best!
The hardware is lightweight, all edges are smooth and I appreciate the rounded finger grabbing area to make adjustments.

These are awesome! I used them to upgrade another brand’s strap suspension. With those you had to pull the straps all the way through the buckles every time. With this upgrade the buckles stay with the straps making it so much more convenient to set up and take down the hammock. It’s also so much easier to adjust with these. Definitely worth the upgrade!!! And if you want to cut some weight, go with the superior gear straps too.

Smart Design, robust, and quick to use! Shaves about 2 minutes off my total setup time from fiddling with my old buckles. Only design flaw I can see would be to soften edges of the 2 channels in each buckle using a radius to avoid chafing. (Where you hook your amsteel suspension to the buckle) Nothing a chainsaw file and emery cloth couldn’t fix in under 3 min. Excellent buy!

I have tried many different suspensions. This is the easiest to setup and adjust. Especially when loosening a tight setup. Edges are rounded and the finger hole is easy on the finger. My friend, who has trouble loosening his beetle buckles had no problem with these. He had dumped the beetle buckles and went back to using decender rings. He is thinking of buying these.
